We are thrilled to have Dame Therese Walsh as our next inspirational speaker for the PACE meeting on Tuesday, 30 May. Dame Therese has had a stellar career in Senior Management with various iconic organisations in New Zealand. Dame Therese will speak about her early life and the influences which have led her to where she is today.
Past events
Resilience Training - Lieutenant Colonel Clare Bennett
Clare will be covering understanding stress and how it affects us, signs to look out for when we are not going ok, techniques for staying resilient and managing life’s daily challenges.
GLENDA HUGHES: From the Sports Field to the Boardroom
These days you’re more likely to find Glenda in a boardroom than walking the beat; throwing a shot put or behind a radio microphone or in a TV studio.
Many of us need to take minutes, meeting notes or even just notes for ourselves. It’s often an undervalued task and little training is provided. However, this task is complex and sometimes minutes/meeting notes are even critical business documents, not to mention the actions can help keep people on track and honest to what they agreed to do! Sue Chamberlain from Write Ltd will present some simple tips that will enable you to take brilliant minutes/meeting notes without stress and save time.
Our first meeting of the year is a networking and famil event at AREA, who will host us for drinks and nibbles. This is a great opportunity to see their new facility and catch up (or meet new) PACE members and celebrate the start of 2017.
About AREA
At our October meeting, Madison will present the findings of the salary survey that was part of our member survey earlier in the year. These results are timely, particularly after the August meeting with Jo Cribb (Chief Executive, Ministry of Women) on pay equity.
