Dress for Success is a global not-for-profit organisation that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Wellington's Executive Manager, Philippa Wells will be coming along to talk to us about the great work they do in our community and to provide an opportunity for us to donate.
Donations
Bring along both male and female clothes that are in good condition. All types of clothes, of all sizes, not just office clothes are accepted. They would particularly love some everyday men’s clothes.
As well as donations for Dress for Success, Philippa will be collecting donations for the Uplift Project:
Uplift Project
This project collects new and second hand bras and sends them across the Pacific. A project for women in disadvantaged communities - a bra is often unobtainable or unaffordable.
Please also bring along any bras in good condition....refer to attached poster for more details.
