For this meeting, we will be holding a sort of "mini symposium" with the following three presenters:
- Jo Muggeridge and Joy Hewitt from Strictly Savvy
- Helen Hancox from The Flying Filing Squad.
- Sue Reeves from AIS coaching and mentoring
There will also be time at the end for some quality networking.
Sue Reeves
Many of you will know Sue as long time member, and former Chair of PACE. Sue has a new focus AIS: AWARENESS INSIGHT SHINE
Supporting the supporters. Coaching/mentoring for assistants and administrators. The stresses and challenges of being a “behind the scenes” person can be different to those faced by leaders but they’re just as real. Sue has experience in a myriad of careers, from teaching, to running several small businesses, as well as being PA to the CEO of AltusQ, and coaching and mentoring. She understands that it is difficult to make constructive decisions when you have too many balls in the air. She will talk about the benefits of coaching and mentoring tonight.
Strictly Savvy
Jo Muggeridge - Director of Finance
Jo co-founded Strictly Savvy in 2012 when she saw business owners struggling to get everything done. Often overwhelmed, they were not able to grow their businesses as fast as they would like.
With over nine years’ experience as an assistant in the private sector, Jo has worked at all levels including Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive and Chairman of the Board at CentrePort Ltd. She has extensive experience in company and board secretarial duties. She has also supported senior executives in areas including finance, sales, marketing, operations, property and infrastructure.
Jo’s extensive background in high level administration has made her an exceptional role model to her team of 13 and with her financial experience she has progressed into her current role as Director of Finance with ease.
Joy Hewitt - Business Development Manager
Initially joining the company as a Virtual Assistant in early 2014, Joy had always had a natural flair for sales and building relationships. Her career expands 19 years from sales support, customer service and retail management, through to domestic and international sales.
With a natural curiosity to learn and meet new contacts, Joy enjoys engaging with people of all walks of life, and where business owners are concerned – learning how the business operates is key, as this allows her to determine how engaging the services of a Virtual assistant can help free up their valuable time so they can focus on growing their business.
Joy is often out and about as the face of Strictly Savvy, regularly attending and hosting networking events around the Wellington region, including being part of the nationwide Venus women’s network group.
Helen Hancox – The Flying Filing Squad
Since 1991 the Flying Filing Squad has helped people put it away so that they can get it back. Helen is the Top of the Pecking Order. She has cunning and creative ideas to help organisations to keep the records that need to be kept, and destroy the ones that don’t. There is a lot of money to be saved in off-site storage costs – all will be revealed.
